    KI Absicherung presents safety argumentation in Berlin

    With the aim of securing the AI functions in highly automated vehicles in the best possible way, automotive manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies and research institutions, including Fraunhofer IAIS, have been working together since summer 2019 in the "KI Absicherung" project. Now the project, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, is completing its work as the first of four projects in the "AI family" of the VDA flagship initiative for autonomous and connected driving. The research results will be presented in Berlin on June 23.

    Fit for the Leap into the Quantum Age

    Ready for quantum technologies: Fraunhofer IAIS supports companies in preparing for the challenges and the changes of the quantum age. For this purpose, the scientists have developed the "IAIS Evo Annealer" with which companies, e.g. from the field of logistics, finance or production, can already use the potential of quantum technologies today without having to access a quantum computer. The technology will be presented for the first time at the "Laser World of Photonics 2022" from April 26 to 29, 2022. The Fraunhofer IAIS exhibit can be found at the joint booth of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in the special area "World of Quantum". Interested companies are invited to bring their own mathematical problems and issues and have them computed on site.

    AI 2000 - Recognition for Fraunhofer IAIS Scientists

    Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS received the "Most Influential Scholar Award" in the annual ranking of the online e-magazine AI 2000. By using computer algorythms, the AMiner system generates rankings based on citation frequencies of over 250 000 renowned scientists in the most important publications.
