Together with Fraunhofer IAO, Fraunhofer IAIS is working at the “Research and Innovation Center for Hybrid Artificial Intelligence” in Heilbronn to develop self-learning intelligent agents – software programs that can react independently to events and assume different roles and perspectives.

In their latest study, the research teams examine how AI agents are successfully deployed: Using the concept of the “Agentic Level,” companies can, for example, assess whether a system qualifies as an AI agent and what risks and opportunities are associated with it.
