As part of the SmartHospital.NRW project, Fraunhofer IAIS and other consortium partners are developing various tools to support hospitals in their digital transformation and the use of AI. The Project

In the KI.NRW flagship project, scientists from Fraunhofer IAIS and others are developing new AI-based solutions for hospitals under the leadership of the University Medical Center Essen. In addition, approaches and tools are presented that support hospitals in their transformation.

The AI Readiness Check requires expertise from the areas of IT management, system and application landscape, (digital) strategy, data management, personnel development, innovation management and information security.

The check serves purely as a self-evaluation and suggestion for action for hospitals. The results are not published or compared. The check is an offline table document that does not exchange any data via the Internet.
