As part of the SmartHospital.NRW project, Fraunhofer IAIS and other consortium partners are developing various tools to support hospitals in their digital transformation and the use of AI. With the free tools and the accompanying white paper, you can determine the status quo of your hospital in terms of its AI maturity level and receive recommendations for further development.

Self-evaluation for hospitals

The AI Readiness Check requires expertise from the areas of IT management, system and application landscape, (digital) strategy, data management, personnel development, innovation management and information security.

The check serves purely as a self-evaluation and suggestion for action for hospitals. The check is an offline table document that does not exchange any data via the Internet.

Smart Hospital Check

Capturing the potential for transformation

The Smart Hospital Check offers the opportunity to check the extent to which a hospital's strategic orientation meets the standards of a smart hospital. The check also provides recommendations for further development.

Process Model

Designing the transformation

The process model helps with the detailed planning of an individual approach to transforming into a smart hospital. In addition to the AI Readiness Check and Smart Hospital Check, it integrates further practical recommendations in an offline self-test. These include a catalog of measures, a catalog of qualification measures and a catalog of use cases.
