The department Knowledge Discovery of the Fraunhofer Institute of Autonomous Intelligent Systems is specialized in applied research, consulting, and development of technologies and systems dealing with all aspects related to the Knowledge Discovery Science.

The portfolio of applied research themes includes technological and methodological know-how, as well as comprehensive market expertises of systems and tools. More than 85 researchers are concerned with current trends in the areas of machine learning, statistics and multi-relational data mining (spatial, text). With products and services from the Knowledge Discovery  division, our customers get closer to the vision of semi-automatic processing of large spatial, web, text or video data with intelligent Data Mining Systems.
