In the department »Media Engineering«, we work on a wide range of topics. From automated report generation, review and analysis using machine learning and text mining and AI-based industrial image processing to quantum machine learning and the explainability and interpretability of neural networks. We are currently staffing a team of researchers and computer science students to work on cutting-edge technologies to bring machine learning research into production.
We are looking for a master student with a sound understanding of Machine Learning and a passion for DevOps.
Join us as Student Assistant - Software Engineering (DevOps) at Fraunhofer IAIS.
Your tasks include
- Support development and maintenance of DevOps pipelines with GitLab and Docker
- Gain experience in Python fullstack development by working alongside our team of engineers and researchers.
What we expect from you
- You are a student at a German university in the area of Computer Science or a comparable field of study
- First experience with Docker or Kubernetes are beneficial
- Interest in DevOps for machine learning applications Familiarity with Linux
- Experience in software development with python
- You are fluent in English, German is a plus
